Hey there my crazy little fanatics. We are here to discuss one thing and one thing only, and that is sports. Now, the bulk of this blog will be soccer and basketball because those are my two favorite sports. I am a Manchester City and Boston Celtics fan. If you don't like that, let me just reminisce on the greatest moment in the history of Earth...

Isn't it beautiful ladies and gentlemen? Doesn't it just send shivers down your spine? Nothing will ever feel better than listening to the commentary of this joyous moment. "AGUEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" " I swear you'll never see anything like this ever again."
For those of you who don't know, this single goal won City their first ever league championship, on the last day of the season, while they were down two points to their hated rivals Manchester United (isn't it just lovely Patrick?)
That was about three and a half years ago. As we stand right now, City has won another title since and are currently in first place, absolutely dominating in domestic play. I know, I know, this post was basically a recap of Manchester City history, which I will admit isn't very large. We are a club that has become dominant only recently due to the money of our owner, but I became a fan for a different reason. I found a piece of myself in the club. It was never about prestige or how dominant they were, I was just a kid who turned on the tv one day and saw this club with some great looking jerseys playing. They weren't a big club and in fact, I'm pretty sure that season we ended up in 10th place that season. This was the 2008-2009 season for anyone wondering. I watched a young team that played together and had heart, had passion. This was before the Aguero era. At the time the squad only had players like Robinho, Elano, Jo (the greatest Brazilian trio ever people) <--- Please don't believe that, they were absolutely awful. I had to suffer with that, I deserve spending 56 million on Kevin De Bruyne. This was a team with promise and I was hooked from that moment onwards. That was 6 or 7 years ago. Since then I've seen some great stars like Aguero, Silva, and Kevin De Bruyne join the team. I was always a fan of the younger guys who would carry the next era of great greatness and saw young upstarts like Jack Rodwell, Adam Johnson (do not google his infamy please), Nastasić, Guidetti, and sadly, even Marcos Lopes (I miss him so much, damn you Monaco). Now, none of these guys are world class by any means (although Nastasic has a shot at it with another of my favorite clubs, Shalke). I love this club with the burning passion of a thousand suns. We WILL win the league this year and I look forward to talking about it with all of you. Until we meet again.
